What the League Does
The League of Women Voters of the Greater Dayton Area is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Voter Service activities of the LWVGDA include:
- In-person candidate forums
- Recorded candidate Interviews
- The Voter’s Guide
- Directory of Public Officials
- Information about how to vote: by mail (absentee ballot), early in-person, and on Election Day.
- Voter registration and information events
- Educational programs on local, state, and national issues
LWVGDA is a 501(c)(3), nonpartisan, non-profit, educational organization. Effective July 1, 2021, your gift to the LVWGDA is fully tax-deductible where permitted by law.
